To visit Campania with all its marvels you’ll need a little bit longer than just a ten days holidays, for places such as Amalfi Coast, Sorrento, the Islands need time to be contemplated and admired. But if during your short visit you want to see as much as possible there’s a solution.
Instead of using a car to go through little, curvy streets of wonderful Coastlines you can rent a boat. A perfect mean of transport for those who want freedom.
Here we would like to propose you a three places boat trip
Let’s start from amazing Sorrento Coast, to which without any problems you can easily arrive from Naples airport or the railway station. Here have some lunch trying amazing local cuisine. Try on a plateful of gnocchi alla Sorrentina, you will fall in love with this simple and tasty dish. Then you may visit interesting sights like the Villa Comunale, Piazza Tasso, Marina Grande, a charming bay with fishing village and of course a public garden situated high on a cliff, with astonishing view of gulf of Naples.
Than with your boat you have to visit Marina di Equa, a little but so lovely fishing village where you can try mouthwatering sea food, and have a rest and sunbathing on famous Spiaggia delle calcare, a particularly structured stone beach.
From there only short way to Ischia, one of most popular touristic Italian islands. Why is it so popular? Well, the beauty of this place will leave you short of breath... be sure! It is a volcanic island, the largest one on the Tyrrhenian sea. The island known for its spectacular white sand beaches and wonderful scenery has another one attraction to offer: hot springs, which are having truly positive effects on health and skin. In fact staying on Ischia you can visit one of many spas which won’t cost half as much as you expect. The city of Ischia is divided in Ischia Porto and Ischia Ponte. The first one is well known as Villa dei Bagni, a purely touristic location with many shops, bars and restaurants. The second one, the Ischia Ponte, called also Borgo del Celso, is the old town of the city, with beautiful 17th century buildings, Castello Aragonese and Palazzo Vescovile – the Bishop’s Palace. If what you need for your holidays is fun Ischia is just a perfect place for you.
Than the next place on our tour is an island of Capri, one of most famous Mediterranean islands. This little flowery island has many wonders waiting for you to be discovered. For those who love history ruins of Roman villas, wonderful Augustus Gardens. One of the most notorious sights of Capri thought is Grotta Azzura, the Azure Grotto.
