Anja Rubik, originated from Poland started her modeling career soon after graduating from high school. Her face featured covers of various magazines, including Vogue, Elle. Anja was modeling for campaigns of great designers and brands: Givenchy, Chloé, Dior, Hermés, Valentino, Armani and many others. She did as well the haute couture for Valentino, Channel, Ellie Saab.
The groom, Sasha Knezevic, of Serbian origin is a model as well. He worked in America for “Gap Close”, “Chelsea Hotel”, “Man About Town”. Since 2010 he’s the general redactor of “25” Magazine, a fashion magazine. Since 2011 he’s the face of DKNY brand.
The couple knew each other for very long time, and finally they got engaged last Christmas, during their trip to wonderful and romantic Vienna, where Sasha grew up.
Called “genetically blessed couple” (wonder why?...) Anja and Sasha tied the knot last weekemd in Deia, on the Spanish Majorca. Being a top model and a queen of catwalk, Anja couldn’t wear anything less than a dress designed by someone notorious. In fact, her long trained, leg revealing dress was designed by Peter Dundas, her close friend, and a creative director for the fashion house of Pucci. Made os silk, mullet – hem creation was truly gorgeous, just the right thing for the most demanded model. However, the gown did not arise as many good opinions as expected, nor did Anja’s hairstyle.
According to bride’s wishes the ceremony was held in private and intimate atmosphere, so all preparations and details were secret. It is know that the witness was Anja’s sister , while among guest it was possible to see surnames such as Di Caprio, Lagerfeld, or Gisele Bundchen. The couple exchanged Cartier rings in a Orthodox wedding ceremony. Here are some photos from the ceremony and later reception. How do you like them?...
